Javier Fernandez is from Rosario, Argentina. He started learning the piano at the age of 6 with his father, who was a pianist himself. At that time, he was influenced mainly by tango, folclore, bossa nova and jazz. From age 12, he went to the musical college in Rosario, and in 1998 he began to study classical music at the National University of Rosario. A year before finishing, he started to take private lessons with Javier Martinez Lore, a well-known Tango orchestra conductor in Rosario. In 2008, he moved to Switzerland and started a a rich musical career. He worked as a pianist in the piano bar „Restaurant Seerose“ in Wollishofen, Zurich, and as a teacher at various music schools (ejemplos?). In 2009, he performed a Tango concert for the Argentinian embassy, and played with various important musicians, such as the Argentinian Tango singer Gabriela Bergallo.
